The Tenth Annual Countywide Multicultural Conference will be
held on May 15, 2008 at the Los Angeles Hilton Universal City
Hotel. Planning is well underway for what will prove to be a
productive and exciting program. In support of the Board of
Supervisors’ Policy on Diversity, Conference workshops and
presentations are designed to equip our employees and
consumers with new skills in cultural competency. |

Multicultural Conference. The theme “Continuing
the Journey: Adapting to Change in a Culturally Diverse
Society”
recognizes the need for employees in all departments of the
County of Los Angeles be skilled with the most up-to-date
knowledge of cultural sensitivity and cultural competency.
The Conference participants will be able to embrace
practical knowledge and skills and be ready to implement
