The County of Los Angeles is proud to host the 10th Annual
2008 Multicultural
Conference “Continuing the Journey – Adapting
to Change in a Culturally
Diverse Society,”
which is diversity at its finest. The event will be held on May 15, 2008,
at the Los Angeles Hilton Universal City Hotel.
We invite you to be our partner as a sponsor/donator, and help us in
strengthening
diversity in the workplace and our communities. By donating an item to
be placed into each and
every bag that will be given to each participant at this conference,
your
organization/company will be recognized as committed to meet the
challenge of building
a community of mutual respect for differences. The Multicultural
Conference
outreaches to a diverse population encompassing the five Southern
California Counties
which include Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and
Ventura. In
addition the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors have been invited
to attend.
This event is an effective vehicle to position your organization to
network with hundreds of business
professionals, community leaders, and private citizens throughout
Southern
California, which has a diverse population in excess of 10 million
residents. These
participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops, seminars
and intercultural
programs designed to develop awareness and cultural competence. Your product is
exclusively to support the 2-day event. If you have any questions,
please do not
hesitate to contact my sub-committee chair, Debra Myrick-Williams
at (213)
974-9415.
We look
forward to partnering with you in this exciting event.
Sincerely,
Mary
